Pop up keeps happening, i need to make it disappear

Why does this keep popping out?

It looks like updates have been applied to Windows, and now Windows has to be restarted to finish the updates.
Save your work, close all applications, then click 'Restart Now'. Windows will restart automatically, and after a few minutes you'll be back.

That doesn't work because the screen and all its apps are locked to keyboard entry, only the popup window accepts keystrokes.

I changed an option of when the top closes to keep all apps running. I did that a couple of weeks ago, I wonder if that makes a difference?

You can click 'Wait an hour', close all applications, and then restart the laptop yourself from the Start menu.

Still not working, the popup just reared it's ugly head again

Cancel the popup.
Click the Start button, type reliability monitor and press Enter.
Can you see if updates failed to install?

I have no idea what I am looking for but here is the report.

Wow - lots of problems there. But at least the Windows updates were successful.

Now, click the Start button, click Settings, then Update & security.
Are pending updates listed? If so, there were so many updates that they couldn't be installed in one go, so you have to restart Windows at least one more time.

My guess is that you were seriously behind with Windows and Office updates.
Apparently you're now ready to finish installing the Creators Update (Windows 10 version 1703). This may take a while; it took about 30 minutes on my PC.

How do I select the Creators Update (Windows 10 version 1703) to run it's update?

The update has already started being installed. The first screenshot in your previous reply states that

A restart is required to finish installing the following updates:

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703.

Your laptop is apparently somewhat slower than my desktop. Still, an hour for what amounts to a completely new version of the operating system is not bad...
