The (list) and (*) tags - a suggestion

Post by ChrisGreaves »

This could go, Oh I dunno, 3rd from the bottom of the list?
  • It would be cooler-than-cool if, after I had selected a block of text to be (LIST)ed and clicked on the (LIST) tag to find that the list/list tags were in place (as is done now) AND that the software had positioned my text cursor immediately after the opening (LIST). Then I could just click the (*) tag.
  • It would be cooler-than-cooler-than-cool if, after I clicked the (*) tag, the software positioned my text cursor at the start of the next paragraph so I could just click the (*) tag.

P.S. Of course, if the software on receiving the (list) command could place the (*) at the start of each selected paragraph, I could sign myself "Deliriously happy" Of Toronto. :threadhead:

It would be handy, but don't count on it anytime soon - if ever.
Best wishes,
Hans
