This isn't important, just a little odd.

I get a list of notifications

I click on the bottom one, John Gray's notification 2 of 2, and I get this:

John Gray posted two (almost) identical topics titled Badge. By the time you clicked on the notification, the duplicate had been moved away from public view by the admins, hence the "not authorized" message.
Best wishes,
Hans

Just to clarify, in case you were wondering. We try not to actually delete posts, as that prevents us from recovering from mistakes. So duplicate posts, and anything else we might normally delete, simply gets hidden from view.

In addition to the above, and if you want to limit your notification to only the necessary ones, you can go into your control panel and disable many of the unessential ones that bloat your notifications area.

Just my 2-cents.
