Hi -

When I click on View New Posts, I have already read the posts listed. I’ve marked all forums read and again tried new posts, but that didn’t help. Am I missing something? I guess what I’m after is a Mark all items read type of choice….

“View unread posts, seems the most promising option.

I again want to stress how grateful I am to find you all here!

View new posts lists all threads with new posts in this session (or since you last logged in), whether you've read them or not.
View unread posts lists all threads with posts that you haven't read yet.
Best wishes,
Hans

What's the difference between "this session," and "last logged in?" I haven't had to log in since I first arrived here, so I'm guessing that a "session" is the times between opening and closing the Lounge in my browser.

I don't know for sure, but I think you're correct.

Thank you, Hans.

I did an experiment and yes, if you log out, you will get posts you haven't read (Duh) when you next log in.

View unread posts lists all threads with posts that you haven't read yet.
Or, if your focus is on the View New Post page, you can click Refresh on browser toolbar.
