Is it me? Didn't we used to be able to add a note explaining the reason for an edit?
Or was that in a Lounge in a parallel universe?

Rudi is correct. Only those who can edit other Loungers' posts (admins and, if we had had them, moderators) see a box to specify a reason for the edit.
But nothing prevents you from adding a line in Italics if you edit one of your posts.
