If private msgs are still in my Outbox on this site does that mean the person i sent the msg to is not on?

I moved this thread from the Excel forum to the Lounge Matters forum, since it is about the way the Lounge works, not about Excel.

When you send a private message, it remains in your Outbox until the recipient has read it (or, if you sent the message to several people, until at least one of the recipients has read it). During that time, you can still edit the message.

When the message has been read, it is moved to your Sent Items folder.

This behavior is different from that of e-mail programs, but if you think about it, it is actually a nice feature.
