Just a silly question. Why do they show your mail address & my username whereas other forums don't.

SevenForums and the Windows Secrets Lounge use vBulletin as forum software, while we use phpBB. They have different templates for notifications.

As a BTW, it might be interesting to see the actual email address behind the 'From:' names. The Lounge is a 'real' email address, whereas the others may be of a 'DoNotReply @forum.com' type. (That doesn't mean to say they don't have different From: and ReplyTo: addresses, and/or that they don't use a bounce detection feature!)

Hi Leif, Seven Forums & Windows Secrets both use actual email addresses which can be used to contact Admin as does Eileen's Lounge. But are not to be used to reply to threads, and are only done be accessing the Forum directly by using the included link.
